Huge thanx to Innergreen eco-filling, now we have " JUMBONIKO" cushion range!
They are grown up version of BONIO Flat Dolls, measuring 73cm x 31cm.
With an unbleached calico insert and removable cover in recycled / vintage materials, filled with Innergreen corn filling.
Innergreen filling is a sustainable fibrous filling that is made from 100% Natural Corn.

BONIKO's SAFEHOUSE is finally re-opened in Fitzroy North!

In addition to our basic organic cotton toe socks range, we are very excited to welcome products by " tou" from Japan.
" tou" means " a question", " ask ", and " inquire in Japanese.
They produce a range quirky knit accessories, finished and packaged beautifully to the highest quality standards.
We fell in love with their multi-functionality and enigmatic styling, we hope the Melbourne people find the same.

You will also find our hand picked recycled / vintage clothing for men / ladies / kids, at very reasonable price.

BONIKO meets Laura Mckellar

New products just arraved from Japan, just in time for Design Made Trade!
Collaborating with a Melbourne Illustrator Laura Mackellar, we produced 200 limited edition of Canvas Eco-bag, comes with a BONIKO badge.
Super durable bags are made from 12oz unbleached canvas, with Japanese eco-tag as standard.
With our brief " Your imaginary friends", Laura created these super KAWAII characters " Lamma - Mamma".
(Well, if you have been reading this blog, you might remember the fact we LOVE Alpacas :-)

WINTERLAND at Carrageworks-Sydney

The first night went off with a great selection of bands, we almost forgot to mind our stall!
Then a beautiful girl approached us wishing to purchase one of our selection of vintage beaded cardigans...
Softly spoken, so graceful, I thought she might be a model or a dancer.
Then she told us that she is the last performer tonight and she is going to wear the cardi on the stage, we were so stoked!
When I checked the line up, the last performing band was the Preachers.
When they were on, it was nothing like I was expected from the quiet spoken girl I saw.
Her vocal was so powerful and so amazing they ROCKED!
She kindly gave me an autograph and I got to take a photo with her:-)
